A Day of Perfect First Looks and Fun
Justin and Kayleigh’s wedding at The Evergreen Red Barn in Evergreen, Colorado, was absolutely breathtaking. The Evergreen Red Barn is a stunning Colorado mountain wedding venue. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect—not too hot, not too cold—and the famous Colorado blue skies with scattered clouds set the perfect backdrop for their special day. It was just like their engagement session at Roxborough Park. We can’t give enough credit to Andrea at The Red Barn—she was amazing to work with and made everything run so smoothly!
Non-Traditional Wedding with a Personal Touch
Justin and Kayleigh made it clear from the start that they weren’t going for a traditional wedding, and we loved every bit of it. They did everything their way, creating a day that was personal, fun, and filled with love.
While Kayleigh was getting ready with her honorary wedding party—laughing, chatting, and getting their hair and makeup done—Justin and his entourage were busy setting up the ceremony site and the barn for the celebration. The relaxed, do-it-yourself vibe set the tone for what would be an unforgettable day.
First Looks That Brought All the Emotions
One of the most fun parts of the day was the series of first looks. Kayleigh’s ladies had seen the dress before, but seeing her in it brought a whole new wave of excitement and tears. The joy was infectious!
Next, we set up Kayleigh’s first look with her dad, and it was one of those moments where you could feel the love in the air. When her dad turned around, there were a few more tears (in the best way possible). We captured the moment, then gave them some space to soak it in privately.
But that wasn’t the end of the first looks! Kayleigh’s first look with Justin was filled with so much excitement and love. They’re such an adorable couple, and when they finally saw each other, you could see how ready they were to start the party and their life together.
The Perfect Evergreen Wedding Ceremony
As guests arrived at the ceremony site, Christopher had a blast shuttling them over in golf carts—because, why not? Justin took his place in front of their family and friends, ready to see his bride walk down the aisle. Kayleigh, arm in arm with her dad, stopped halfway to lay her bouquet next to a photo of her grandmother. It was a heartfelt and emotional tribute that had everyone in tears.
Once she turned back toward Justin, the love between them was undeniable. Their wedding ceremony was full of laughter, joy, and a few more happy tears, but it was their kiss at the end that sealed the deal. Their guests cheered as they were officially pronounced husband and wife!
A Laid-Back Reception at The Evergreen Red Barn
After the ceremony, it was time to kick off the celebration! Guests played darts, enjoyed delicious BBQ, and soaked in the relaxed, fun atmosphere of The Evergreen Red Barn. Before the evening really kicked off, Justin and Kayleigh shared their first dance as husband and wife, followed by a sweet daddy-daughter dance.
Then came one of the most touching moments of the night—Kayleigh dedicated her bouquet to her mom, a gesture that had everyone feeling all the love.
And because this couple knows how to have fun, they set up video games for guests to enjoy! That’s right—Mario Kart was on the agenda, and it was the perfect way to bring out the playful side of the evening. We loved capturing those little moments that made their day so uniquely them.
