Stunning Colorado Fall Wedding
The Gatehouse at Lionsgate Event Center
When Gina first saw Jessica’s smile come across her Match.com, I don’t think either of them could have imagined the beautiful adventure they were about to begin together. Fast forward a few years and here we are on a breathtaking Colorado Fall afternoon in the stunning Gatehouse at Lionsgate Event Center, and Jessica and Gina are ready for their next adventure together. Fall weather in Colorado is a hit-or-miss thing. You can have a range of sun, rain, snow, wind, etc. We were fortunate the Colorado sun, and fall warmth stayed with us all day. Even though we had some breezes, it was a perfect day. Jessica and Gina’s family and friends traveled in from all over to celebrate their soon to be new adventure as Wifey’s for Lifey!!! And I am beyond grateful that we were there to document their day.
The early afternoon was downright bursting with joy and laughter. Jessica had this adorable shorts pajama set with her name on it, and Gina was living life in her floral bridal robe. As Gina and her bridesmaid were getting their hair and makeup down upstairs, loving on Sienna, Ginas Fur Baby. Jessica and her bridesmaids were downstairs laughing and enjoying their time together. As Jessica started putting her jewelry on, her pearl necklace broke at the claspโฆThank heavens for a needle and thread! As Jessica continued to get ready, Katie worked hard to fix up the necklace ๐
I love that Jessica and Gina wore pearl necklaces and such meaningful pieces. When I snagged items for detail photos, Gina told me her pearls were from her grandmother. I thought to myself that is so sweet, and then I took them out of the box, and there on the clasp was a small heart that read, “my granddaughter, my joy.” Honestly, I had to take a few minutes to compose myself. Once Jessica and Gina were done getting ready, we headed outside since it was a gorgeous fall day for their First Look.
From First look to Secret Vows
The Gatehouse couldn’t have provided a more awe-inspiring area for their first look. The arbor gate leading to their ceremony spot was draped with the most dazzling red, crimson, and green fall ivy. It was like a picture from a storybook and where we would be sharing their first look. As we got Jessica and Gina settled, and had them take a deep breath it was time for them to turn to see each other for the first time on their wedding day. Their expressions shared everything we needed to know. How they looked at each other with so much love and happiness was beyond amazing. The sweetness of their first look didn’t end there; we headed to the Secret Garden, the perfect spot to read the private vows they had written for each other. As we tried to stay far enough back to capture photos, Gina made sure to have a tissue “handy” for when Gina started to tear up ๐
We were amazed by the beautiful scene that unfolded before us all for Jessica and Gina’s ceremony. With the enchanting music from the string quartet, Nexus Strings, their friends and family took their seats, ready to celebrate Jessica and Gina’s love.
A Sing a Long and I Do’s
The beauty of their ceremony didn’t end there. Their good friend Kristel officiated, and between her beautiful words and a sing-along of Can’t Take My Eyes off You there were tears of joy and laughter ๐ Their ceremony was so unique to them. With everyone joining in to sing, you could feel the love radiating around these two genuine and beautiful people. As Gina’s Best Mate Neeve handed over the rings, and Sienna’s bandana was changed from “My Humans are Getting Married” to “I DO TOO”. Jessica and Gina said their I DO’s, and Kristel happily announced them WIFEYS FOR LIFEY!!!!!! YAY!!!!! Their friends and family erupted with cheers and congratulations
Let’s Get the Party Started
They started the reception off right with a saber champagne pop, some truly emotion-filled speeches, and their first dance as Wifeys ๐ The night had just begun. When DJ Jason cranked up the music, the guests flooded the dance floor and started heading to the photo booth. Everyone was so cheerful and loving. I found myself feeling like part of the family. It was a captivating night of celebration and love.
As the party started winding down, we headed outside for a sparkler exit, and as Jessica and Gina danced their way through the sparks, their family shouted and cheered.
I am so grateful for many things, 1. meeting two phenomenal people, Jessica and Gina, and getting to call them friends, 2. being able to capture their love, and 3. meeting their friends and family who made us feel so welcomed and apart of everything. Their day is a celebration I will never forget!
Jessica and Gina, thank you from the bottom of my heart for choosing me to be such a big part of your day; it was beyond incredible. CONGRATULATIONS on this new adventure together, and I can’t wait to hang out again with some Live 90’s music! ๐
