Dalton and Bin | Downtown Denver Engagement

Engagements

Colorado has been pretty good to me these past few weeks with the weather! Every session or wedding I have had in the past few weeks always calls for rain, so we pack up the clear umbrellas and prepare for a Colorado evening storm. Once again, on Dalton and Bin’s engagement session, it called for…rain. However, we got lucky, and Dalton and Bins’s engagement session was fantastic!! Our only distraction, weaving through prom-goers at the Cheesman Park Pavilion 🙂 Even then, it was so lovely to see smiling faces!

Dalton and Bin have shared so much together, from traveling, trying new restaurants and bars, and soon in just three and half months, will get to share I DO’s. They met at the Wrangler Bar during a Sunday Beer Bust, and after four weeks of noticing each other, Dalton gave Bin his number. That lead to their first date at Strings Restaurant, which we now know as the Humboldt Fish Market.

The Proposal

Something remarkable happened on their eight-and-a-half-year anniversary. They headed back to the Humboldt Fish Market, where they had their first date. Dalton had arranged a happy hour for them and some friends. With a surprise rose gold diamond ring, during this particular Happy Hour, Dalton proposed!!! Bin obviously said YES 🙂 because that brings us to their Downtown Denver Engagement session.

We started at the beautiful Cheesman Park Pavilion. Dalton and Bin lived near the park for a year and often walked around together there. Even though we had a sea of happy prom goers taking photos there, we still got some fantastic images. From there, we headed to what I think is now one of my favorite spots, Millenium bridge, and Little Raven Park, otherwise known as Commons Park. Such a gorgeous area. From the distinctive modern downtown look, then you turn around to see a beautiful park with so many places for great photos.

We loved hanging out with Dalton and Bin for their engagement session and can’t wait to photograph their wedding at the Born Hotel in September. Congratulations, Dalton and Bin, on your engagement and the past ten years you have been together and in love. We are so excited to be such a big part of your special day!
