The Historic Morrison Chapel

What do you get when you have a gorgeous spring day, a beautiful small chapel, and the sweetest couple…a breathtaking intimate Colorado Wedding surrounded by their closest family and friends. Greg and Devy couldn’t have picked a more beautiful day to get married and at the sweetest chapel, The Historic Morrison Chapel. One thing I loved about this day was how sentimental the chapel is for them. Greg’s grandfather preached at this chapel for a very long time; many family members have been married there because of it! 🙂
As Greg was making sure everything was set up perfectly for his bride, Devy, she was in the quaint little Bridal sweet getting her hair and makeup done. It was so cute how she talked about Greg and when they first met. You could tell how happy and in love Deny is by that gleam in her eye, and she couldn’t stop smiling!
It was terrific seeing everyone arrive, hugging and showing their love and joy for Greg and Devy. You could feel how strong the connections and friendships are; it was so heartfelt.
Time to say I Do
As everyone settled into the chapel and Greg took his place with his Groomsmen, Devy’s bridesmaids were in place; the chapel doors were closed, ready for the bride to make her entrance. The music started, the doors opened, and there stood Devy looking like an Angel. Greg couldn’t take his eyes off of her. Nelson slowly walked her down the aisle to give her to this man who you could see loves her more than you could imagine. I watched as tears started to fill Greg’s eyes. It was such a touching moment. Best of all was Devy’s smile lit up the room.
Everything for the ceremony was perfect, from the cross they put together, listening to the Old Rugged Cross in memory of Greg’s grandfather, to even the moment when the rings were MIA 🙂 Seeing the joy and love that everyone there shares for Greg and Devy was just mesmerizing. As they said their “I DO’s,” their family and friends wiped their joy-filled tears away.
Greg and Devy, Congratulations! I am so happy that I got to be a part of your beautiful day and capture those sweet moments of tears, hugs, kisses, and laughter. I wish you all the best you deserve it!
