A Wedding with a View

Dillion Lake Pavillion, Dillon Colorado

When I first met Daniel and Meagen at Applebees in Broomfield, Colorado, this wedding photographer fell in love with them right away! Between Meagen’s fun-loving upbeat personality and Daniels telling it how it is personality, they are just fantastic to spend time with. But what is most incredible about this couple is the joyful love they have for their friends and family, and especially their love for each other.

On Saturday, August 21, 2021, Daniel and Meagen were preparing to head to Lake Dillion Pavillion to say I DO! Meagen spent the morning with her bride tribe, doing hair and makeup. When I arrived at the condo, she was absolutely glowing! After she got into her perfectly fitted flowy wedding gown, we had to hide her in the kitchen to get ready for Daniel and Meagens first look. We found this cute little area just right out the back door. It was like our own private Aspen grove. With them ready to go, Meagen called to Daniel; he turned around, and his face lit up with the biggest smile seeing his beautiful bride.

Lake View Ceremony

We headed over to The Pavillion at Dillon lake in Dillon, Colorado, with just a little time to go before their ceremony. You want an epic background for your wedding…oh, they had it!!! Even though storm clouds were rolling in and the temperature dropped, it was still a breathtaking scene. As Meagen walked down the aisle to Daniel, even though he had already seen her earlier, he couldn’t take his eyes off her. Hand in hand, they shared their love and devotion, finally saying those two crucial words, ” I DO.”

Everyone gathered at the Red Mountain Grill for good food, drinks and to celebrate the newlyweds! My favorite part of their reception was when they took to the floor for their first dance, which they look a lesson for. I loved watching all of their family and friends with cell phones out so they could get it on video.

So as Daniel and Meagen celebrated one of the best days of their lives with the people they love most, I couldn’t help but share in their joy as I clicked away with my camera!
