When you were a kid did you ever want a puppy or a pony? How about a ginormous ice cream sundae, the biggest you could ever imagine, dripping with all kinds of delicious toppings? But the biggest question is, did you ever want a Dinosaur? Or even now, would you want a Dinosaur? I never thought I would want a dinosaur for a pet, until one morning I woke up to a Trex standing in the hall, staring at me. You read that correctly….TREX, now I have a Pet Trex.
My Husband Christopher, is a huge fan of random costumes and things that are usually ridiculous but will brighten anyone’s day or make you laugh. He saw this costume on a youtube video and immediately said he had to have it. I didn’t think anything of it until one morning the dogs started barking and he pops into the bedroom with the giant crazy costume. Which of course abruptly woke me up scratching my head for what was going on.
Let me back up a little, after searching the internet, he purchased Trex before it became a popular thing. Our girls were so excited and the love this costume. They were so ready for Halloween now, even though Halloween was a few months away. I have to admit I didn’t see the big deal with it until he started messing around in it around the house.
Trex right away became a part of the family. He would walk to the mailbox with Nevaeh to get the mail. I swear I think our neighbors thought he had lost his mind! But they loved it too. He even hopped into our Mini Cooper while wearing it and I couldn’t stop laughing.

It took our dogs a little bit to get used to having Trex around every once in a while. The best part is Christopher started getting more ideas to do with this Trex, and the girls were 100% on board. TO be honest, at first I was 75% on board, but after our first adventure with Trex I was completely sold. And I was glad Christopher spent the $85 for the costume.
