Oh, what a splendid love story we get to share! 🌟 It’s a tale that began with a touch of fate, wrapped in the warmth of their faith and blossomed into a beautiful, sincere love. Nathan and Emilee, the stars of this love story, embarked on a journey that started in the heart of Tucson, AZ., and continued with their eternal love and happiness in Denver, Colorado.

Their Love Story

The story of Nathan and Emilee is the kind of love story that makes our hearts flutter. They first met as missionaries, dedicating their time to a higher purpose. As fate would have it, their paths aligned perfectly, and even though Emilee returned home before Nathan, the spark of connection was already ignited. Messages turned into conversations, and those conversations turned into an unbreakable bond that defied the distance between them.

In winter of 2022, they found themselves in different cities for college, but that couldn’t keep them apart. The weekend of love, Valentine’s Day, brought Nathan on a four-hour drive, taking Emilee on an extended date filled with laughter, dinner, a trip to the grocery store, and Emilee’s playful introduction to the world of Twilight. But their journey to official status took a few more months.

And then came May, the magical month that transformed them from being two individuals with hearts intertwined to being a beautiful, inseparable couple. From that moment on, their love story has been a whirlwind of support, shared passions, and endless laughter.

The best is yet to come…Oh, the proposal! It was a moment that took their love story to new heights, both literally and figuratively! Nathan’s heartwarming proposal to Emilee was nothing short of an adventure set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Colorado National Monument.

Picture this: a snowy day, a cliff that seemed a little sketchy at first glance but held the promise of something truly extraordinary. Amidst the stunning natural beauty, with the world blanketed in a serene layer of white, Nathan chose this incredible spot to pop the question.

In its simplicity, the proposal was incredibly sweet. Nathan’s love for Emilee was evident in every moment leading up to that magical question, and it made the day all the more special. Standing on that “freakin” cliff, overlooking the majestic Colorado landscape, they shared a moment that would forever be etched in their hearts.

Nathan, in Emilee’s eyes, is a gem of a partner. His thoughtfulness, love for dogs (what a bonus!), and how he loves her wholeheartedly illuminates her world. On the other hand, Emilee, for Nathan, is an incredible source of support, a laughter-inducer, and someone who embraces and nurtures his passions.

From Roxborough to the Temple

We had the exciting opportunity to do things a little differently. Two days before the wedding, I met Nathan and Emilee at Roxborough Park for their First look; it was a moment filled with anticipation, love, and the promise of a beautiful life together. Bonus that we had her parents and grandma join us. Cori and Dinie were excellent at helping fluff Emilee’s flowy romantic inspired gown. But it was Mike and Cori who had us laughing the whole time as they were recreating the poses I had Nathan and Emilee in.

Then on August 5th, 2023, Nathan and Emilee’s special day was set against the backdrop of a gorgeous summer day with the Denver Colorado Temple bearing witness to their love. As they stepped out of the Temple filled with love and adoration for each other, their family stood waiting to celebrate with them.

The reception was a dreamy affair adorned with wildflowers, which complemented the joy and vibrant energy of the day. In lieu of a wedding cake, donuts of all kinds filled the table, and let’s not forget about the sweet sensations filling your candy bag at the candy table.

A sprinkle of rain couldn’t dampen their spirits; in fact, it only added to the magic of the day. Guests gathered under the patio, and once the raindrops ceased, a magnificent Colorado evening unfolded. They danced, laughed, and celebrated with their loved ones by the poolside. The joy was palpable, and the love they shared radiated brightly.

As the evening drew to a close, Nathan and Emilee left their reception in style, with a fantastic bubble exit, dressed in their finest Hawaiian print shirts and adorned with flower leis. It was a joyful ending to a day filled with love, laughter, and the promise of a beautiful journey ahead.
